Phillies welcomed brand new teammate Pedro Martinez to the clubhouse with a win over the heavily favored Rangers. Phillies got off to a quick two run lead in the 2nd. Rangers came right back in the bottom of the second to make it 2-1. Teams exchanged runs in the 8th and Lidge came in for the save.
