| I was wondering if anyone was getting this game and wanted to put an online band together. If so, let me know, and let me know your preferred instrument and difficulty level. I'm probably can handle vocalist the best and at the highest difficulty (expert even). Most every other instrument for me would be medium, but you can plug me in anywhere needed and I can practice.
It would be less than competition and more getting together and having fun.
I'm totally stoked for this game, and have been waiting for it for about two years now. Yes, I'm showing my age.

| For the record, reviews have been coming in this week. Average score appears to be a 9/10. Lots of fun, especially as a party game. A bit short of songs on disc, but with potentially the whole Beatles catalogue available by DLC. Extremely well produced and detailed graphically. Highly recommended. And, if you want to play online, you have already have one fourth of your band in ME!! And, yes, I intend to download EVERYTHING!!! | |

| Noooo....I already got Rock Band equipment. I can't justify spending $250 on plastic since it costs just as much to get real life (cheap) instruments!!! The one spurge I'm making is to by some Singstar mics so we have 3 in the house. This way, I can sing with the kids. My understanding regarding the harmonizing is, as long as ONE of the three of us hits the mark (me) we ALL pass! So the kids can sing whatever they like and I can hold the line and we can still win!! Its going to be great. I'm going to download every album that comes along. I'm just crazy about this one right now. I hope you get it also, You and your wife and me and my wife. Sort of like John and Yoko and Paul and Linda!!!! | |

| For the record, you can get older equipment really cheap right now. I think you can get RB2 right now for $99. You can get that and the Beatles game and have TWO games and save $100 | |

| good call m,.......still the guitar looks good http://ps3.ign.com/articles/102/1022711p1.htmlLimited Edition Content The $250 box set for The Beatles: Rock Band comes with the game (which retails for $59.99), a set of Ringo-styled drums, a wired mic, a mic stand, some postcards of The Beatles, and a very attractive replica of Paul McCartney's Hofner bass. It's basically what you get with Rock Band 2, only with a bonus mic stand and an extra $60 slapped onto the price. That's right, you get the same basic set for $60 more because it's got The Beatles license. Had the Limited Edition come with a second guitar or three wireless mics, perhaps the price would be justified. But this is plain and simple a rip off. Ringo's drums don't look that great and the lack of a wireless mic is a real shocker. The only thing commendable about this set is the amazing reproduction of McCartney's bass guitar. The body is absolutely gorgeous. This is, without question, the coolest looking plastic guitar so far released by any music game. It looks great, but unfortunately, it plays poorly. No advancements have been made from the previous Rock Band 2 guitar. The buttons are loose, the strum bar still feels mushy and it just doesn't feel right in my hands. The only smart thing done with this version is that tapping the Start button won't pause the game. Instead you have to hold the button for a few seconds, preventing accidental pausing during play. There are also a set of buttons at the base of the neck for solos, but they're hardly good enough to merit the cover price. Normally, Limited Edition packages receive the same score as the normal games. That's because the software is the star and these bonus items don't really change what is on disc. The Beatles Limited Edition breaks that standard. This set is so overpriced and the guitars functionality so mediocre, that I could not possibly leave this at the disc's original 9.0 score. I've dropped the final score on this set a full point, in hopes of warning people off. If you need instruments, consider purchasing some from Activision's Guitar Hero series, which are compatible with The Beatles: Rock Band. | |

| One word:
Outstanding!!
And who knew my 6 year old daughter can keep a beat on the drums!
Or that my wife would actually play a video game!
I need to throw me a "real life" Beatles: Rock Band party around here. How cool would that be?!

| I assume wireless? If its like Rock Bank, you have to make sure the dongle is plugged in, and push the button on the guitar that syncs it to the dongle. Also, make sure the guitar is on. BTW, sometimes the PS3 assigns some weird controller number to the USB slot. Check that also if nothing else works. | |
