A pitchers duel all the way between Carpenter and Matzusaka, with no one breaking through. A couple of baserunners in the bottom of the 9th becomes the winning run when Greene slaps the balll past the shortstop and the Cardinal at 2nd comes home safe on the throw to the plate.
