ANNOUNCEMENT: Congratulations to the METS!

Congratulations to daMilkManPart2 and the METS for clinching both 4th place (and therefore a playoff position) and 3rd place in the Stengel Division.

I will ask daMilkManPart2 to read the "Playoff Rules" which can be found in the newly opened Playoffs Forum.

I will ask daMilkManPart2 to SIGN HIS NAME below the rules after he has read and understood them.

I will ask daMilkManPart2 (and everyone else) to pay particular intention to Rotation rules in the playoffs. Because we will be playing all playoff games in exhibition mode, we will no longer have fatigue available to police our rotations. We will have to go back to our traditional method of POSTING A ROTATION BEFORE THE START OF THE PLAYOFFS, AND STICKING WITH THAT ROTATION.

I will ask daMilkManPart2 to POST A PLAYOFF ROTATION when he is ready to do so. It does not have to be right away, but it should be some time before the first game of the playoffs. Keep in mind that, because exhibiton games are based on live rosters that change every week, teams may have different than the rotation those used during the regular season. As we get closer to the playoffs everyone may wish to download the rosters off line and examine and experiment them with them.

The METS are assured of home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
