Phillies found some offence as they got off to a quick 3-0 lead in the second inning. Pedro didn't have his usual stuff, as he let the lead slip to 3-2 in the bottom of the inning. Rays completed the comeback in the bottom of the 7th with two runs to tie the game at 4-4. Ryan Howard worked the count to 3-2 in the top of the 8th to smash home the winner with a monster blast. Brad Lidge came in with the save.

The pitchers ruled, as the only difference in the game was the two of the Phillies hits were home runs. Howard and Feliz both hit smashes in the 5th to make it 3-0, and then all bats went to sleep for the night.
