Brandon Inge started things for Detroit in the top of the 4th with an RBI single. Ordonez added to that score with a HR in the top of the 5th to make the score 2-0 Tigers. Ordonez would go yard again in the top of the 7th to give the Tigers a 3-0 lead. In the bottom of the 8th the Blue Jays got on the board with an RBI DB by Bautista. They added another run in the bottom of the 9th with a HR by Rod Barajas but they lose this one 3-2.
