Seattle's Cliff Lee began the game a bit rocky as he allowed a two run shot by Manny in the 1st.... Lee eventually settled down and went on to pitch a shutout the rest of his appearance... in the bot 3rd Mariner's catcher Joe Mauer hit a two-run shot to tie the game....then in the bot 4th the Mariners began the inning with a triple from Milton Bradley on a qustionable error from Grady Sizemore...Guillen would follow w/ a rbi single.....A. huff got an rbi single of his own to make the score 4-2...The Red Sox came close to responding in the top 5th with runners on 1st and 2nd and only one gone...but lee was able to get out of the jam...Beckett struggled in the 6th as he allowed a 3-run shot by Mariners Matt Kemp to make the score 7-2 as this would be all for Seattle's offense...The Red Sox put the pressure on in the top 7th and ended Lee's night after putting runners on 2nd and 3rd with nobody out but Nate Robertson came in and didn't allow a run in the inning... His only run allowed would come in the top 9th when Tulowitzki led off the inning w/ a homer to center to make the game and final score 7-3

Another pitchers duel between Mariner's Carpenter and Boston's Justin Verlander....Carpenter didn't allow a run until the bot 5th When Hafner smacked a solo shot to center to make it 1-0....the Mariners would answer back and take the lead in the top 6th with a two-run bomb by Teixeira over the green monster to make the score 2-1....it Remained that way til the top 8th when Jeter hit an RBI single and made it 3-1...Unfortunately the game froze in the bot 8th.... Hopefully something can be done to fix this problem in 10...Great series Red

Congratulations Wichi on a second straight trip to the World Series! Damn this dude had my number all season long. Good, clean baseball, the way it's supposed to be played. That's two straight losses in the LCS to you. Won't happen again

As far as the dropped game goes, I would have had to score two runs in the bottom of the 9th anyway and I haven't been able to score much on you at all. I don't think it made too much of a difference. Good luck in the WS.
