In the first inning David Ortiz got things going for the Redsox with an RBI sac fly. Mike Cameron hit an RBI single followed by a 3RBI DB by Adrian Beltre to make it a 5-0 Redsox lead at the end of the 1st. In the second inning, Kevin Youkilis hit an RBI DB and David Ortiz hit a 2RBI DB to make the score 8-0 Redsox. In the 5th inning Dustin Pedroia brought in another run on a fielder's choice ground ball and Victor Martinez hit an RBI sac fly to give the Redsox the 10-0 lead. Shortly after, the game disconnected.

Another good game ruined by SC.

Game 2

The Redsox got it going early again in game 2. Victor Martinez brought a run in on a fielder's choice ground ball. Kevin Youkilis' RBI DB and David Ortiz's 2 run HR gave the Redsox the early 4-0 lead. In the 2nd inning the Indians got going on an RBI single by Lou Marson to make the score 4-1 Redsox. In the third, Kevin Youkilis added to the Redsox lead with a solo HR to left field making it a 5-1 game. In the 4th inning however, the Indians climbed right back into the game with RBI DB's by Matt Laporta and Luis Valbuena making the score 5-3. In the 5th, Haffner brought the Indians within a run with a solo HR making the score 5-4. That would be all for the Indians as the Redsox pulled away for good in the 6th inning with a 2 run HR by David Ortiz, a solo HR by Mike Cameron, an RBI DB by Marco Scutaro, RBI single by Dustin Pedroia, RBI DB by Victor Martinez, RBI single by Kevin Youkilis, and an RBI single by Marco Scutaro making the score 14-0 Redsox. (there was another RBI somewhere in the mix but I can't remember who or when.

For the record, in Game 1, my "ace" Fausto Carmona goes down with an injury in the first inning. I have to throw my reliever in cold and, by the time some else in the pen is warmed up, the game is out of reach. Carmona is down for 6 days.

Of course, thats no excuse for Game 2 . Though Game 2 was close for a moment.

Mike you're absolutely right, I totally forgot about Carmona going down, that was huge.

Picking the Indians was clearly a mistake.

Could be worse brother, could be worse.

Mike Cameron, who has been on fire since the start of the season, had another big game as he got things going for the Sox in the second inning with an RBI 3B. Adrian Beltre hit an RBI singe, Marco Scutaro hit a 2RBI DB, Jacoby Ellsbury hit an RBI single, Victor Martinez hit an RBI DB, and Kevin Youkilis hit an RBI single as the Redsox tucked this game away in the 2nd inning. The only score the Indians got was off and RBI single by Asdrubel Cabrera in the 6th inning. The Redsox put another run on the board when Mike Cameron hit a towering shot to left field to give them the 8-1 lead and eventual final score.
