Not much action til the top 4th when the Angels Led off the inning with back to back hits from Morales and Hunter... Matsui advanced the runners when he grounded out to the pitcher...with runners on 2nd and 3rd and only one gone Izturis was walked for a chance at a DP....Napoli then hit an RBI and reached first on a fielders choice....Weaver followed with an RBI of his own to make it 2-0....The Mets answered back in the bot half of the inning with a solo shot from carlos Beltran..but that would be all for the Mets offense....The Angels added their last run on an Rbi from Izturis...The Angels bulpen didnt run into much trouble until the bot 9th when with 1 out Bay was able to reach 1st on a dropped 3rd strike....wright then followed with a single to put runners on 1st and second and only 1 gone.....Tatis was up at the plate with a chance to tie it or even take the lead but Angels relief pitcher Jepsen was able to get tatis to ground into a game ending DP

John Maine going up against scott Kazmir in this one...The angels got on the board first in the top 3rd inning when Napoli hit a solo shot to left....The Mets answered back in the bot 4th scoring a couple of runs when Jason Bay hit a 2 RBI HR.....The score remained 2-1 Mets until the top 9th when K Rod blew the save as the Angels rallied back... it sarted with a BOB to Aybar on a 3-2 pitch....Abreu was then hit by pitch....it seemed like the Angels were on the verge of coming up short when Tori Hunter grounded into a DP.... but with a runner on 3rd and 2 out "Godzilla" came up big with RBI double to tie the game at 2....Then Angels CF Willits who was meant to come in to PR for Matsui Accidentally came in to PH for Morales and came up clutch hitting an RBI single to give the Angels a 3-2 Lead....Then in the bot 9th the Mets Seemed to be on there way to a walkoff with runners on 1st and 2nd and nobody out....but Brian Fuentes was able to come in and seal the deal striking out the following 3 batters
