Game 2: PHI 4, TEX 7
Texas rebounds in game 2 against the Phillies after a tough loss. Scott Feldman went on short rest and shined, giving up only 2 runs in 6+ innings of work. At the start, both teams traded runs and ended the first two frames at a 2-1 Rangers advantage, then Halladay and Feldman went to work until Halladay was credited for 3 runs in the 5th inning.
Before the game, Rangers Gold Glove shortstop Elvis Andrus went on the 15-day DL with a strained hamstring suffered in yesterday's loss to the Phillies. Texas called up Joaquin Arias and Doug Mathis to replace the injured Andrus and Derek Holland. Holland was designated for a rehab assignment in AAA Oklahoma City after missing his scheduled start in yesterday's game.
