Game 1: DET 3, TEX 4

The back end of the Tigers bullpen can't hold the lead as the Rangers come back to win it on a walk off blast by Josh Hamilton. The Rangers started off the scoring with a sacrifice fly by Nelson Cruz, but Detroit came back in the second inning to make it 3-1 and would hold that lead for most of the game. Jim Leyland pulled the plug early on starter Dontrelle Willis, after 4.2 innings. Willis only gave up one run on 3 hits during his outing. Detroit took the 3-1 lead into the 8th inning, when Joel Zumaya and Jose Valverde just imploded. Zumaya was credited with a third of an inning, giving up 2 runs on 2 hits. Valverde closed out the inning, but gave up the walk off to Josh Hamilton on the first pitch of the at bat with 2 outs.

This game disconected in the 8th inning.....we decided to count it it was our third attemp of the night ....those gotta be the worst servers of all time on da show...i will pray for the servers....lol

Guys, as I PMed to FN, if you have a hard time getting the third game in, both of you give me a note that you need an extension, and I'll grant 24 hours.

Game 3 was another classic game between these 2 evenly matched teams. The tigers would get in the scoreboard with 2 runs in the 4th. They would add 2 more fir a 4-0 lead, but that almost wasn't enough. The rangers would go back to back in the 6th and tack on another to make the game 4-3, but that's as close as it would get. The bullpen came in and shut the rangers down. This was a great series. Each game being decided by 1 or 2 runs. Brandon Inge had a great game, going 4-4 after struggling all year. When asked about his performance, Inge said, "I'll run through fire for this team". Someone get the waterhose. Till next time guys........
