The Redsox jumped out in the first inning with an RBI DB by Ortiz and an RBI sac fly by Youkilis to make the score 2-0 Redsox. In the top of the 3rd the Redsox added to their lead when Pedroia, who reached on an error, scored on a sac fly making the score 3-0. The Indians got on the board in the bottom of the 3rd off of a 2 run HR by Ryan Garko to make the score 3-2. The score remained the same until the top of the 6th when Drew uncorked a bomb to right center for a 2 RBI HR bringing the score to 5-2. The Indians would answer right back in the bottom of the inning when Perralta hit a 2 run shot of his own making it a 1 run game again at 5-4. In the top of the 8th the Redsox would make it a 2 run game again when Drew hit an RBI single to make the score 6-4. In the bottom of the 8th the Indians would come roaring back however scoring four runs on a 2 run shot by Kelly Shoppack, an RBI single by Cabrera, and a sac fly by Sizemore to make the score 8-6 Indians. Kerry Wood came in and closed the door giving the Indians the win.

Another great game: The Indians Jumped in front in the 1st Inning with a solo shot by Victor Martinez, But the Red Sox gained the lead in the top of the 3rd with back to back bombs by Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz, and never let go of that lead, in the later innings they would add more runs on a 2 run single and a sac Fly, the indians kept the pressure all game long but never got the key hit. Wakefield went the distance to get the win on 6 strikeouts and no walks, POG.
