Place your top five nominees for MVP in this post. Final voting of the top 3 vote getters will be Monday during the off day. You can only nominate ONE PLAYER FROM YOUR OWN TEAM. You CAN nominate multiple players from another team.

You WILL be able to edit your vote until final voting starts Monday at 8pm (just in case someone has a monster weekend)

mikeda's vote:

1) M. Bradley, Cubs - 15 home runs leads by a mile, unknown RBIs (but at least 15)
2) G. Sizemore, Indians - 7 hr, 18 rbi, 1sb
3) R. Ankiel, Cardinals - 8hr, 15rbis, 3 sb on a last place team
4) T. Wakefield, Red Sox - 5 wins, 4 POG, season's only no hitter
5) R. Braun, Brewers - 6hr, 15rbi, 3sb

I don't like to put pitchers in this category; that's why there's a CY Young award

1) K. Youkilis ( Can't go by what SC thinks is the POG, but Youk's HRs and RBIs either tied the gms or gave Us the Lead )
2) M. Bradley ( killed me with a walk off HR )
3) G. Sizemore
4) R. Braun
5) C. Peña

I thought about Youk, but he had a monster first quarter and then was injured and hasn't done much for over a month now. I agree with you about the Cy Young, but you have a team of MVPs where noone stood out. That left me with Wakefield as the only one who dominated.

Grady Sizemore - Tied for 1st in POG's/2nd in RBI's from the leadoff spot/7 HR's - did a little of everything

Rick Ankiel - 8 HR's/15 RBI's/3 SB's - did a little of everything

Tim Wakefield - Lead the league in wins/tied for 1st in POG's/ and a no-hitter

Milton Bradley - 15 HR's - might have been higher on list if RBI stats were available

Ryan Braun - 6 HR's/15 RBI's/3 SB's - did a little of everything

***Kevin Youkilis get's honorable mention - would of been on list if not for lack of RBI stats***
