SEASON FOUR - Rule Change - Free Agency

It appears that, despite trades being off, we may be able to claim players off free agency. This continues to cause the same problem for us as trades do. Specifically, rainout games and playoff games played in exhibition mode will not allow us to have access to those players. Therefore, even though they seem to be available, I'm asking for a vote as to whether or not we should agree NOT to claim a player off free agency

There is a majority vote in this poll. Free agency signing as a league is disallowed and grounds for a Bootum Council vote.

There's like always an exemption to every rule. Here's the scenario ( I'm getting a little ahead of myself ): I was wondering while playing around with my roster what will happen if U try to move some1 down to the minors but that player has no option left (There's a count of this) I imagine that that player must clear waivers... If that's the case can We claim that player?

This whole Show 10 set up could be really fun if we trusted it to work.

Lets get to the point where you have no one left on your 40 man before we decide about free agents. Who do you want? Smoltz or Martinez?

I thought I understood all that had to clear a vote by league? Might have been trades but, regardless.

My question is late in league season what about rainout games when the rosters may or may not be different.

Again, I'm a rookie and just asking more than anything.

Free agency is not allowed this season. If someone gets really stuck with their roster, which won't happen, we'll reexamine.
