Series #2 Phillies (PlatanRich) Vs Angels (Whichiwichipai)

In an epic game The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim by way of Anchorage Alaska in partnership with Angola and Albania lost to the Phillies 6-4. It was a lot closer than the scored showed, the Phillies where down by 2 runs in the first three innings, but where able to tie it up in the fourth. D. Wise homered in his first game started and said "That should prove to them that I can start instead of that fugly Hawaiian punch dude" adding "I run with the big boys" 87 year old Hernandez was able to hang in for a couple of innings until Utley hit a two run home run in the ninth, when asked why it took him so long he said "I had dinner reservations I had to get to" B.Lidge was able to close the door on the Angels in the ninth.

A close match between the Angels and Phillies in this one as there were several lead changes.....it started early in top 2nd when Phillies 1st baseman Ryan Howard started the inning off with a double and was later brought in to score by Placido Polancos RBI single.....The Angels would answer right back in the bot 2nd with Rbis from both Izturis and Morales to take the lead at 2-1.....This lead wouldnt remain for long as The Phillies would tie it at 2 off an RBi single by Utlley....Then in the top 4th the Phillies took the lead when Werth hit 2 run bomb to left to make the score 4-2......in the bot half of the 4th the Angels tied it back up at 4 thanx to Morales Hr and Napolis RBI double....Then in the top 6th Werth would again hit one out the park to give the Philles a 5-4 lead....The score remained this way until the top sixth...The Angels seemed to start the inning off on the right foot when MRP Jepsen struck out Victorino to start the inning but the ball got away and victorino reached 1st....victorino then stoled second and would later come in to score when Utley hit his second RBI single of the game to make it 6-4 Phillies.... in the bot 7th the Angels would get a much needed run off a pass ball that allowed Willits (who came in to PR for Napoli) to score...that cut the phillies lead to one...Angels SU pitcher F. Rodney would do a great job in the top 9th allowing no runs and only one hit to keep the score at 6-5......The Angels gave themselves a chance to tie the game early in the bot 9th as Kendrick started off the inning with a single....he later advanced to 2nd off a sac bunt from Mathis...Aybar Followed with a Blooper to LF...Then with runners on 1st and 2nd and only one gone Abreu who had been 0-4 entering this at bat made everyone forget how bad of a start hes had when he hit the gamewinning 2-run doubled to RF...great series Platano

Great series Whichi, I love how they showed that Lidge had the most blown saves last seasons before he lost it...lol
