The first 3 innings the pitchers were in control. In the bottom of the 4th, Phillips hits a solo shot to make it 1-0 Cin. Top of the 5th, Ludwick replies with a solo HR of his own making it 1-1. In the bottom of the 5th inning, 1 out, 1st and 3rd, the Reds attempt a double steal that caught both Mike and Beamer of guard and the Reds score. Stl ties it up at 2-2, and in the bottom of the 7th Dickerson is HBP, moves to second on a wild pitch and eventually scored the winning run on a single by Taveras. Encarnacion puts up an insurance HR in the 8th for the final run. 4-2 Reds.
