This game was pretty routine until the 3rd inning when the Indians jumped out to a 6-0 lead that would prove to be enough to win the game. Three consecutive singles by Francisco, Cabrera and Sizemore would load the bases. Immediately after Victor Martinez would be hit by a pitch to score the first run of the game. Garko then hit a 2run single making the score 3-0. Peralta followed that with a double to bring in another run and Choo would bring in two more with a single to make the game 6-0. In the top of the 5th the Indians added another run when Peralta doubled in Derosa who singled earlier in the inning. The Cardinals would finally get on the board when Rasmus doubled and Greene singled him in making it 7-1. In the 6th the Indians added a run when Sizemore singled with Francisco and Cabrera on 1st and 2nd to make the game 8-1. The Indians weren't done yet as they added two more runs in the top of the 9th as Garko drove in two with a single after Sizemore reached on a dropped 3rd strike and Derosa singled bringing the score to 10-1. The Cardinals showed they still had some fight in them by adding two runs of their own on a homerun by Ankiel and a Thurston RBI single.

The Indians got to work early in this one when Peralta hit a 3 run bomb to left center in the 1st inning. Derosa would match him with his own 3 run shot in the 2nd to make it a 6-0 game. In the 3rd Cabrera hit an RBI DB and Carl Pavano helped his own cause with an RBI single to make the score 8-0. The Cardinals got on the board in the 5th when Thurston hit a HR to make it 8-1. In the 6th it would be Perralta back at it with his second HR of the game to bring in 2 RBI's making it a 10-1 game. In the 8th Shumaker hit an RBI DB and in the 9TH Chris Duncan hit into a DP but it allowed the runner on 3rd to score making it a final score of 10-3.

Things got started early again in game 3 of the series when Victor Martinez hit a HR to give the Indians the 1-0 lead. In the 2nd inning the Cardinals would answer right back with a HR by Ankiel to tie the game. In the fourth Ryan Garko and Shin Soo-Shoo would both hit HR's to give the Indians a 3-1 lead. In the 6th Garko would hit his second HR of the game, a 3 run shot to make it a 6-1 game. That would be all of the scoring in this one.

Ok, I don't have the greatest record, so you can disregard my opinion if you wish. But I've now played many of the top contenders of this season already and, let me tell you, this is the first series where I truly didn't have a solution and didn't have a chance.

All y'all who think this is season isn't going to have suspense is gonna be in for a surprise, I think.
