Another excellent pitching performance by a Red Sox's starter, Brad Penny was perfect for 5 inning but then gave up back-to-back hits, then settle in for the complete gm, line: CG, 6H, 2ER, 0BB, 8K. Red Sox's Batting was a whole different issue for "The Hulk" they compiled for 23 hits and 16 runs ( for some weird reason that idk Hulk left Joba to earn 14 of those runs ) an impressive attack by the Red Soxs. For those Runs Ortiz ( coming back to life ) hit 2 HR, Drew and Bay hit 1 each.

The closest gm of the 3 was the last 1; in the very 1st inning with Beckett on the mound the Yankees got on the board 1st with a 2-run HR by Swisher ( who hit 2 in the gm ) after that Beckett settle in to pitch a solid gm, the red sox eventually would go on to take the lead on back to back hrs by Ortiz and Lowell, they picked Ortiz as the MVP of this one too but if U ask me I would've pick Okajima who came in relieve in the 7th inning with runners on the corners and nobody out, and got 3 pop ups to get out of the inning unharmed, He would come out for the 8th and retired the side in order, then "Pap" came in the 9th to seal the deal.
