The Redsox opened this game up with a 5 run first inning when Chipper Jones hit a 2 run single and Travis Haffner hit a three run shot later in the inning. Josh Hamilton, who has 3 HR's in this series so far, hit a solo shot in the bottom of the first inning to make the score 5-1. Jones drove in another run in the 3rd on a fielder's choice ground ball to make the score 6-1. Derek Lee drove in a run in the 4th on a sac fly to make the score 6-2. The Yankees made things very intersting in the 5th when they brought home 3 runs on RBI DB's by Jose Reyes and Ian Kinsler. In the same inning Hamilton would drive in his second run of the game on a single to make the score 6-5. Grady Sizemore, who is coming to life after a slow start, drove in another run on a single in the 6th to make the score 7-5. The Yankees would bring in another run in the 7th on an Adam Dunn HR but it wouldn't be enough as the Redsox take this one 7-6.
