Derek Jeter got things going for the Yankees in the first inning with a sac fly RBI. The Yankees added to that lead in the 2nd inning with a 2 run HR by Nick Swisher. In the bottom of the inning, J.D. Drew singled in a run and a run scored on a passed ball to make it 3-2 Yankees after 2. In the 4th, Nick Swisher went deep again to make it 4-2 Yankees. In the bottom of the inning, Mike Cameron rounded 3rd base too hard on a ground ball out and got caught between 3rd and home. He was able wiggle out of trouble and beat the throw home to score the run. Later in the inning, David Ortiz hit a bases clearing DB to give the Redsox the 6-4 lead. In the 6th inning, Jacoby Ellsbury hit an RBI single to make it 7-4 Redsox. The Yanks weren't done yet, a sole HR by Alex Rodriguez and an RBI single by Randy Winn brought them within a run at 7-6. Derek Jeter tied things up in the top of the 9th with his own HR. In the bottom of the 9th, Kevin Youkilis hit a ball over the Green Monster to give the Redsox the walk off win. A great game RB, but I do have a complaint. Joba Chamberlain started game 2 and also makes a relief appearance in game 3? I didn't feel that was very realistic. Anyway, great game and great series. This guy can play.
